Terms of Service

These terms describe how we offer Smart WAF today. We are in Early Access and onboard every customer by hand, so the commercial specifics live in the agreement we sign with you — this page sets the honest baseline.

The service

Smart WAF is a managed web application firewall. Your DNS points at our EU edge, we filter inbound traffic (WAF, bot management, rate limiting, IP reputation), and you get logs and policy control through the portal. We operate the security stack; you keep the relationship with your own users.

Early Access

The service is currently offered as Early Access. That means:

  • We onboard partners manually and work with you directly.
  • Pricing is published at general availability; early partners get founding terms. We do not list a price here — see the pricing page for how that works.
  • Features evolve. We will not remove something you depend on without telling you.

Service levels

We do not publish a numeric uptime or response guarantee on this page, because we will not promise a figure we have not committed to in writing. Any specific service level applies only if it is stated in the agreement we sign with you. Where we quote a response time elsewhere on this site, it is an honest expectation, not a contractual SLA.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Break the law, or help others do so.
  • Route traffic for content or activity you have no right to operate.
  • Attack, probe, or overload our infrastructure or other tenants, or attempt to bypass the multi-tenant isolation that keeps customers separated.
  • Resell or sublicense the service except under a partner agreement (see the agency page).

We may suspend a site that puts the platform or other customers at risk, and we will tell you why.

Your data and privacy

How we process request data and personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms overrides the GDPR rights set out there.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability is bounded by the terms of the signed agreement. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will make it visible before it takes effect. The entity responsible for the service is named in the Impressum.
